You’ve worked hard and need feedback. What parts of the writing are working? Which aspects need strengthening? Is the draft ready for submission?
For 25 years I’ve critiqued and edited manuscripts of all types. My critiques are thorough, honest, and encouraging. I will leverage all my experience as a published author and MFA graduate to help you improve your fiction or nonfiction for kids.
I will mark up your text, plus give you a 2- to 3-page evaluation. My comments address both the big picture (organization, story structure, plot, characterization, voice) and the details (spelling, grammar, punctuation, language, reading level, length, syntax). I'll also point you to resources and comparative titles so that you are equipped to take your work to the next level.

My thorough critiques start at $150.00 for the following projects:
Picture Books up to 1000 words
Early Readers, Chapter Books, Middle Grade Novels up to 2000 words + 1-page synopsis
Articles and Short Stories up to 1500 words
You can add a 30-minute followup call for $50.00.
