For 25 years I’ve critiqued and edited manuscripts of all types. My critiques are thorough, honest, and encouraging. I will leverage all my experience as a published author and a recent MFA graduate (in writing for children) to help you improve your fiction or nonfiction for kids.

I will mark up your text, plus give you a 2- to 3-page evaluation covering a dozen aspects of the work. My comments address both the big picture (organization, story structure, plot, characterization, voice) and the details (spelling, grammar, punctuation, language, reading level, length, syntax). I'll also point you to resources and comparative titles so that you are equipped to take your work to the next level.
